TheOneRing.Net has posted an item about a long lost J.R.R. Tolkien recording. I'm listening to it as I write this. He recorded a part of "Of Herbs and Stewed Rabbit" in 1952 and the recording quality is quite good. This is a very lengthy recording, and Tolkien does voices for both Sam and Gollum. They are very distinct.I've provided a direct link to the RealAudio file below.
