Oversight? : Also, Númenórans and elves hold the Lhûn-line against Sauron, does this not imply that Númenórans were already living there before his assault? : NT Orcs would always be considered "folk of Sauron" or "folk of Morgoth," no matter the situation, because of their origin, would they not? Perhaps the Wainriders were held in similar contempt, even if the epithet wasn't always completely accurate?
I don't rememer enough about the second point, I'd have to read UT again.
