: I was just thinking about something. When Bilbo found The One Ring and went to Mirkwood he wore it alot after they got lost....right? WEll with the Necromancer(Sauron) so close in Dol Guldur doesn't it seem likely that Sauron would have been "aware" of him when he had the ring on and wouldn't Bilbo have been "drawn" to him?

Seems like a pretty likely scenario now that you mention it.
Then again, he was kinda preoccupied with the white council.
