: Just got back from TORC.net, and it seems that Karl Urban
: (Julius Caesar from "Xena: Warrior Princess") will be playing
: Theoden's son Eomer.

A most excellent choice, in my opinion. Karl has played several roles on Hercules and Xena, and he is best known as Caesar and Cupid from those shows.

I've been making some inquiries (actually, Calisuri at TORN asked me for further info about this) and have learned that Karl will be at Dragoncon. He is going to star in his own television series this fall, called THE PRIVATEERS, and he'll be bringing some sort of exhibition team with him.

We're going to try and get him for the Tolkien and Middle-earth track, but I already know he'll be part of the Hercules and Xena track. Check out the LOTR Movie Fact/Rumor Roundup for a little more info and links (and, don't worry -- I just sent the info to Calisuri).
