Being a hero isn't about taking chances, going against the odds or winning or losing. Being a hero is about WHY you choose to buck the odds and take the chances.

A hero is someone who bucks the odds, takes the chances and puts his/her life and well being in jeopardy, not for benifit to him or herself, but for the benifit of someone else.
