: Well your facts a bout cyclists are not correct. It is extreemly difficult to maintain a speed of 20 miles per hour for any distance It takes a very well trained cyclist to do it. As for speeds of 60 It just doesn't happen It is possible to reach 60 by slipstreaming but only on big hills and you can not peddle your bike that fast 108 gear inches makes peddle rpm of 143 at about 43 miles per hour Faster peddling than that is only possible from the finest riders in the worldwell, could be I made a mistake somewhere in the kilometer to miles conversion, but remember hearing something of the sort when watching the Tour de France on television. During the time I had a speedometer fitted to my own bicycle I found that reaching 50km/h was no real problem, and I'm no sportsman, and have a cheap basic low quality bicycle.
