yes Mithras was a widly worshiped god... i wasn't sure of its orgin.. but it was worshipped in Britan long after it had stopped being worshipped elsewhere.. i have read somewhere that there is evidence for it still being worshiped in southern wales... or somewhere near there.. around 1000 AD... and it had stopped everywhere else long before then... but either way u can see that it is very close to elven...
