But I think the way the kings of Arnor and Gondor were reckoned might be an indication of how the lordship of Andunie was passed on. Also, the fact that descent is reckoned from Valandil implies that there was no break in the line of male heirs to the lordship. I think that Tolkien would have regarded a Lady of Andunie worthy of mention somewhere.
