: : : : i agree... i would rather be the least important being in middle earth then be anyone in this world.

: : : : this world sucks... although not earth in itslf.. just the people like u said...

: : : : Beren Valthôl

: : : But if this world didn't exist, Tolkien would never have been born to write about Middle-earth.

: : Nil Desperandum dear Beren Valthol. For every war and every mugger, murderer and thug that grinds us down, there is the heart of a fair maiden to win, a windmill to tilt at, the dew of a spring morning, a game of cricket, a pair of beautiful eyes that you would gladly drown in, a pub full of friendly faces and fine drink, and most of all the moment when the maiden is won and that first kiss gives you your raison d'etre
: : 'All that I have been I will be again'
: : Don Quixote

: Well said. I know that there are terrible things in the world, and myself often day dream of being in a place like middle earth, but one must realize that there are terrible things in everyplace (Sauron) but there are also wonderful people who are innoscent and nieve as the day they were born. I know many people whom I envy for there kind pure hearts, these to whose I would shape myself. Let us look for our "Sams" in our world and depend on their goodnesses rather than look forever to our own Mount Doom.

I agree with Dulcinea!
