: : Impressive. Altho a bit too big for one page I would have : : thought. Also note some of it is invention (e.g. the Kings of : : Rhudaur and Cardolan).: I don't know if they made that up; I have seen other websites : that mention the names. I am fairly sure, however, that Tolkien : did not make them up. Perhaps they aree from MERP. Regardless of who made them up, they are poor choices, and there are too many in the lists. There are kings of Cardolan extending to 1412, even though the last Heir of Isildur in Cardolan died before 1349 and the last Prince of Cardolan died in 1409. This information is easily available in LOTR's index, so someone screwed up big time with these lists. And the comment "Cardolan destroyed and the realm vanish" is incorrect. Cardolan became a part of Arthedain (or the reunited Arnor, if you will). He's also got bad dates for the Eotheodic lords. The compilation is indeed an impressive amount of work, but I detect other errors of fact in it. I would warn people against using this page as any sort of resource. It not only doesn't distinguish between non-canonical contributions and Tolkien's work, the historical inaccuracies make it truly suspect. And, no, I will not provide a list of errors. There are too many to document.
