: It is said in LOTR that the ship with Bilbo, Frodo, Elrond and Gandalf etc, was the ship with which the last of the elves set sail to Valinor. Also, i've read that when all the elves have left ME Valinor will dissapear beyond the comprehension of Men and those that dwell still in ME. But in the final chapter of LOTR it is said that Sam later went to the Grey Havens and set sail to Valinor. How is this possible?Wasn't Cirdan the last to sail, or am I confusing something?
