: Do you think it is possible that Daeron came into contact with either of the Ithryn Luin when he went west.Later in his travels I guess it would have to be, as the istari appeared in Middle Earth much later. It is just a thought. Any opinions?

The same could be asked of Maglor, I suppose.

Well, if wither had 'turned to the dark side' then I suppose the other might try to convert them back to the side of good, or the bad one try to make toe good one evil. If both remained good they might mount an attack on Sauron's eastern forces, or if they wer both evil they might try to aid Sauron.

This is just my opinion, though. Nothing canonical.
