: : : No offence is intended but I would like to inquire if English is your (Vomact's) second language?. : These kind of questions are not offending, but a bit imprecise. : There are many, to whom English is not the First language or the mother tongue, who can still commmunicate in English fairly well. It is usually enough to get one's ideas expressed in a way that other people can understand them. : A few grammatical mistakes or misspellings usually don't matter. : I hope you are not implying that we, who are not native speakers of English shouldn't take part in these discussions. : In fact English is my third (after Finnish and Punjabi) or even fourth (Swedish is, after all, the other official language in Finland ;>) language. The problem Vomact has is not his English but probably his arrogance. SNIP SNIP :: Not arraogance. My first language is English. In some cases my posts get posted before I'm finished typing. Also complicating things is that I'm doing this at work at the same time I'm doing 14 other things and the english can get garbled when you not paying attention (I wish this thing had spell check!) I don't think I'm being arrogant and that is not my intent. If you could clearly ellucidate you points then may be we would have a common ground for discussion. I accepted the correction of Don on some facts, however, some of the points that you present are not plausable and are not in fact suppported in any of Christophers Works not the Unfinished Tale, no JRR's letters.. Hence my (perhaps somewhat overempahtic) recommendation to read the book (s0. Sincerely, Vomact : : Tamim
