This is unsupportable (except on a rather extreme philosophical level, maybe). Morgoth and Sauron are distinct beings, Sauron being a servant of Morgoth. Balrogs were beholden to Morgoth, not Sauron. Therefore I do not agree that the Balrog of Moria would have been compelled to return the Ring to Sauron.
