Uh... like back in the late 60's early 70's I think. (Its an animation.) It was the first to come out. It had the goofy drawings (probably great in those days.) But its still very cute. And they had the folk songs like "The greatest adventure" and such. It was a very cute movie. I like it. Then came Lord of the Rings. (in '78?) Which they used live actors in some scenes and drew in animation over them so they'd blend in since it was a cartoon for the most part. (Don't know why they just didn't go with a live action movie back then... but eh. Live animation was a new thing, they probably wanted to take advantage of it.) Then came Return of the King (returning back to the origional animation we saw in "The Hobbit.") To me they were all good movies, and my introduction to Tolkien. (And even though LOTR is very chopped up leaving out what have become my favorite parts as I read the novel...its still a good movie to me.) Drea
