: I have to run out for a while, but wanted to share this right away. This is group is incredible (in my HUMBLE opinion)!

: I've been contacted by a lot of bands wanting to do the end song for the movies, but I think if Peter wants desperately to find someone from New Zealand to showcase in that slot, these are the people to choose!

: For those of you on the mailing list: sorry about the duplicate post. I have to run or I'll be late!

A question: Does anyone know what Tolkien's musical tastes were? I had thought that if I were making a film or play based on LOTR, I would use music in line with what Tolkien envisioned. To that end has anyone ever heard the music written by Donald Swann in the "Road Goes Ever On"? Tolkien had written some notes for the book, but did he actually approve of the music? And was the music good? And would you recommend the music for inclusion in the film? (Yes, I'm aware that Jackson is not considering using any previously published music). Thanks.
