: I think Hollywood is about to undergo some traumatic changes in marketing philosophy. Whatever comes, it will almost certainly affect Peter Jackson's "Lord of the Rings" movies.

Yes a lot of people will probably be able to download movies to watch on their PC. And there will also be ways to counter attack the illegal downloads and then the pirates find a way to beat that, and so forth....its a vicious neverending circle. But who would actually want to watch an entire movie on their PC, I know I wouldn't. I know when I go to see a movie I want to see it in its full glory, on a colossal screen with super sonic dolby surround sound and cup holders on my seat. Of course this has its downside, there will always be irritating individuals in the cinema, popcorn munching people who spend the whole time talking and have really big hair who sit in front of you.
