That cannot be! That would mean the Scouring of the Shire is out of the movie, which is just plain wrong. This is not like any of petty complaints people on this board have raised with PJ's changes to date. Bombadil and Glorifindel (sp.?) may be bit players, but this scene is absolutely essential. One of the main themes in the book is that "you can't go home again" (at least for Frodo).DO we have any confirmation one way or the other whether this change is actually going to happen?
