: Second, as for a recurring nemesis, my vote still goes for the saurian empire of lizard-Romans. Certainly a more capable foe with deeper resources. And they know how to show a gladiator a good time. :)


"The saurian empire of lizard-romans" - Sounds like the perfect description of what this show's about. :)

Just what I've been saying all along, we need a recurring nemesis. This will provide a certain kind of continuity for the show that so far is lacking. All in all, we could need (a few) recurring characters or tribes, not too many, though. The "saurian empire of...." (or "seolr" for the insiders :)) would make for a good choice. However, I think what's important is to have a single nemesis, a character that stands out, even if supported by a tribe.
