Don't worry, there's nothing stupid about liking TLW, you're in good company here! :) As for Veronica, I think just by the way she was raised she didn't have time to be the damsel in distress. That and any good jungle survivor knows that screaming gives away your location to your enemy! I guess the same applies to why she hardly ever gets hurt, she knows better from having grown up in TLW.
