[...]: Who came up with this rating anyway? The title of #1 new adventure show in Germany sounds a little bit like they were looking for a category narrow enough for TLW to win it hands down. "And in the category "New adventure show that features a group of explorers lost on a plateau in the South American jungle" the title goes to...!" :) You are right, Sherlock. The same thought crossed my mind, while reading the article. It IS a jolly strange category, isn't it (boy, just when you thought the Golden Globes had some odd ones!!!). And coming to think about it, there weren't TOO many new shows in that category anyway, right? Most of the new ones at the moment are Mystery series, but not necessarily adventure ones. : As for the time slot, it actually is quite good, although TLW could definitely use stronger companion shows than Sin(d)bad and Highlander: The Raven. Still, the ratings were consistently good during the first season. True, but the good thing is, that it is not running against Hercules and Xena on RTL, because it is in an earlier time slot. Those shows traditionally hold a large number of fans over here and TLW would have had a rough start against them. Since TLW is running vs Sliders it had a good chance from the start. : : What do you make of the article, JAN? It sounds like good news, but I am confused PRO7 (for our non-German board friends, that is the German channel which is airing TLW) wasn't mentioned anywhere, only RTL2. If ANY of the RTL channels is going to air the second season I am going to scream! Oh well... we'll see. : I was wondering about this myself. The fact that TMG (Tele München Group) holds shares in RTL2 doesn't necessarily mean that TLW will eventually turn up on one of the RTL channels. Anyway, as I understood the article the deal only concerns future projects, not an already established show like TLW. You are right, of course. BTW, the fact PRO7 couldn't or wouldn't give any information on possible reruns or the airing of season 2 isn't necessarily bad news IMHO. I guess it is just to early to tell. : : Thanks again for the article. Are you still listening to Wagner's "Ring der Nibelungen" then??? LOL!!!!!!!!!! : A complete "Ring" on CD would last about 15 hours. Even your site won't take that long to load. ;) Now I am really LOLing. ;))))) Sorry, it takes so long. I used Homestead's site builder and I am afraid it isn't much use. But my real homepage software arrived today, which will allow me to build a decent site offline. When I am working on that one, I will also edit the present shots again to make their sizes really tiny. Future shot pages will also feature pictures with tiny sizes, so loading them won't take long. For now that was only a little gag to put the pics up in the first place now that the end of season 1 has arrived (Germany) or is lurking round the corner (US). A little tip: Next time you load them, play some decent Verdi or Pucchini, Jan (OK, I admit it, I NEVER liked Wagner...). (;-))) Watson
