Chances are you've only seen first season episodes - US schedule does not finish the season till May. Spoilers for the last 3 new episodes of the season have been posted here and are in the archives in case you can't wait for the storyline!<<: It's an interesting action/adventure story - and that plateau does appear to go on forever!!. Maybe it's in its own dimensional plane - that's why no one ever seems to get out and why so many odd and varied cultures are found inside of it.>>
