A. The balloon could not survive a return trip
through the severe thunderstorms raging around the plateau.
B. The gyrocopter-the first practical helicopter-was not perfected until 1931.
C. The time travellers didn't leave them a radio to call for help.
D. They have yet to discover where Hans Dressler has hidden his airplane.
