I just discovered this message board today, and haven't scanned the whole thing, but I have to ask - Does anybody have an explanation for the ending of "Prodigal Father", where the former slave Largo is pretending to be Veronica's father Tom Layton? Veronica stabs Roxton in the gut with that big ol' honkin' hunting knife of hers, and the last we see of him, he's lying on the ground looking worried about HER while Malone comforts her. No wrap up with the requisite 'bandaged hero, will obviously recover from grievous injuries' scene, nothing. One friend stabs another, and nobody ever mentions it again?Also, I personally hope that the 'bounty hunter' Kartas shows up again. If Roxton can survive being stabbed, he can survive being shot.
