I liked Kardis (sp?) a lot, too, and thought he could be a good rival/friend for the group, kind of like Hawk in the "Spencer for Hire" series. But, to quote Dr. McCoy, "He's dead, Jim." If they do resurrect him, it'll have to be for the second season, and an untreated gutwound will kill ya, I don't care if you are Roxton or not.Regarding Sir John's remarkable recuperative powers, I personally think it's the water. 'Cause they also had to put him through some kind of ordeal to cure him in "Blood Lust." He was indeed stabbed through the stomach (normally fatal) in "Prodigal Father." But it is a television show. I do wish there was a little more between-the-shows continuity, myself, because I can't imagine Veronica felt *good* about stabbing Roxton, and it would have been interesting to see any kind of fallout. The writers do seem to miss some opportunities, like at the end of "Blood Lust," where Veronica scolds Malone for his actions...you can't tell me there wouldn't have been some kind of fall-out from that... Oh, well. It is just the show's first season, and I chalk a lot of this up to "growing pains." I'm confident that they'll tighten things up for the second season.
