: what is the deal with the treehouse? how can you build something like that in the jungle and so high up. an elevator? please, i live in a in a normal house, but i don't have an elevator. that should have made it more realistic. amd who would drag all that stuff out to the middle of nowhere?
: you go to the treehouse to find it has a great amount of stuff that obviously came from civilisation. it should have been a cave or small plateau or something a little more credible than a giant treehouse with and elevator and two floors.

(laughing)Welcome to The Lost World. Of course everyone was killed but the three of them (per the first half of the movie) which leaves a very pregnant woman and a young man to do it all. A pregnant woman and a young man could have very *easily* have dragged all of that stuff to the tree then built that thing all by themselves....while fending off dinosaurs and ape persons no less. I mean Veronica's mother was pregnant for crying out loud!*Of course* they needed to build a *two story* tree house rather than just having an extra bedroom.

Sure the tree is completely unclimable from long distance shots unless you have full climbers gear (especially a grappling hook) but of course the two of them could do *anything* they put their mind too (oh, except find their way back to the tree house where they left their young child completely unsupervised in a wild, dangerous land with ape men peeking in through the trees at her). Sure our brave explorers can defeat each and every foe in various combinations of 2s and 3s but the people who could accomplish a feat such as the treehouse can't find their way out of the jungle?

Like I said, welcome to The Lost World.
