:Will David Orth be back?

: I would really let go of that one. He's character in the less interesting of them all, he lacks color. I think he could die, simply because it will only help to develop the Veronica character (one they sure will be keeping).
: Will the Roxton character be eliminated? We'll have to tune in to be certain!

: Don't like the idea, don't really think so. He's the sexy-guy there, Maole looks far too naive. Besides, I think his dynamic with Marguerite is one of the great achivements form the show, there's chemistry there, I think they'll appreciate that.

The more I think about it, if I wanted to change the direction of the show, I'd orient it more towards a small group of 4, with the focus on action and cheesecake, with a touch of comedy. I'd keep Summerlee, Roxton, Kruz, and Veronica, but eliminate Challenger and Malone. This would leave us with:

a) the grandfatherly scholar who could also do some pratfall/slapstick humor. Sort of an absent-minded professor.

b) the rugged outdoorsman who goes where others fear to tread and serves as the love interest for:
c) the dark beautiful enchantress, who can carve up a dinner just as easily as raiding an ancient tomb.

and

d) the blonde jungle girl who brings in the male viewers and tries to keep the others from becoming dino-food.

One love pairing is sufficient. Two is overkill.

Any thoughts?
