Let's face it: "Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's The Lost World" has been screwed up by these stations constantly yanking the show around, rather than putting it in a decent time slot. Why they
just can't put this show on at eight o' clock on a Friday night and leave it there is beyond me.
4 p.m. Saturday Afternoon IS NOT the time to show a first run program. Most people are out doing stuff then.
Dumping Summerlee is just a smokescreen for bad timing decisions on the part of TV producers.
Summerlee is more important to the show than Veronica. Who else could revived Challenger in "Absolute Power?" Who else could made
a crude gas mask to rescue Roxton and Marguerite when they were having a bad "trip"? Who else had the backbone to face down Hans Dressler's drawn automatic?
Veronica looks more like the knife-wielding trailer trash stereotypical image of West Virginia women than a character that should be in a family action show.
Sex fiends and others who want Summerlee out of the show should
back off and to Maxim or some NAMBLA-wanna be website. Leave us action junkies alone!
