: This is probably one of the better episodes of TLW.

It's been more than two months since I saw the episode, but I agree.

: I only wish that Summerlee and Challenger had been in it more.

Wasn't this the "our raptors just got very intelligent so we have to be extra cautious" episode? That was just a poor plot device to have Challenger and Summerlee appear at all. They definitely need to be completely integrated into the storyline like they used to be in the earlier episodes. If we manage to bring Summerlee back, that is. :(

: Y'see, unlike some people on this board (not naming any names, grea...;-)) I like the character of Veronica. Not just because she gets to parade around in a skimpy outfit, but her character just has this confidence...she knows how and when to kick a$$, and isn't afraid to do so.

She is a good character with potential. If she would only loosen up a little, not being so overly earnest most of the time, the character would even improve. Then again, as grea once remarked so pointedly, we are talking about TLW writers after all. ;)

: But, as evidenced by the Malone sucker-punch, she's not superhuman. ;-)

Yep. It's important not to turn her into some kind of invincible "Xena of the jungle". That would only detach the character, making her less interesting. As long as the group is made up of individuals that have some flaws, an audience can identify with them.

: What else can I say? The interplay between all the characters was great, the dialogue was right on, they had a good villain (who could become yet another candidate for a "recurring villain")......

Nope. I don't remember the villain that clearly anymore, but he lacked charisma. I really think we need a "larger than life" villain, or at least someone more interesting than the leader of a gang wearing stupid animal masks.
