I know what you mean. Actually I don't even know HOW I found the message board to be honest. I think I was looking through the listings and found the message board quite by accident. When I saw it, however I pounced upon it! I had been looking for LW sites for awhile now since I became a fan of the show and writing LW fiction had been on my mind for quite awhile.
As for trying to find stuff under "The Lost World" - yep, you DO get the Jurassic Park sequel. Even when you type in, "Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's The Lost World" a few of them will sneak in there. Of course that is what you get when you go thru the search engines.
I'm GLAD I found the board and other people who enjoy the show as much as I do from all walks of life, different countries, etc.BTW, a teeny weeny site update. I will be adding Ch. 2 of "The Lost Reich" and Ch 4 of "The Grand Illusion" hopefully this evening. Hopefully I'll have a links page set up too.
Oh, and I'm planning the obligatory "cheescake" chapter for "Grand Illusion" ala Roxton/Margeurite! ^_~ Tam : We've got Cory's site in the Webring, which is one of the better ones (IMO) from the movie sites. The real problem in finding Arthur Conan Doyle sites is if you search for "The Lost World" you almost always find Jurassic Park sites. I'm amazed at how many people have found this message board. I think it's currently the second most popular board on Xenite.Org, and one of the top ten pages in terms of how many views it gets each week. The Lost World Message Board is our 8th busiest page.
