: Did we officially lose him - how is that shaping up? I thought we got him back. I'll believe it when I see it. : Babewatch does nothing for me either, and I really only compared Xena to it because the person I responded to referred to Baywatch in the Jungle or something along those lines. The Warrior Princess, on the other hand, I really enjoy. I think the characters have depth and history, and you understand why they do things - even if they're doing something not especially nice - and you want to know more about them. Agreed. Xena characters have depth and a history. I think that makes all the difference. I'm a little different than you though. I like it when they don't do nice things ( Callisto ). I really like the way the writers re Xena can make an episode out of something you would never think of, like picking up hair lice going through a swamp. I really enjoyed the two part episode when Xena went east to avenge her teacher. Those kinds of flash back stories could do a lot for LW characters. : No, no one should be made "the star", the show works with an ensemble cast, there just have to be some finessing. I know I've been kind of harsh about Veronica, maybe because I do really empathize with Marguerite's character more. I'm a long, curly-haired brunette, and I've felt kind of me vs. the world most of my life, and I tend to respond to things in ways similiar to hers - I guess I'd just like to be like Marguerite when I grow up! Anyway, I really think the first thing they should do is break up Ned and Veronica - they really don't have any chemistry together. That also frees them up for other possible "entanglements". I'm repeating my thoughts from another post here, but I'd like to see Veronica with Niko, and Ned with Assai, maybe. Just shake it up a little! No one else for Marguerite and Roxton, though - like em just as they are, on track. It figures that Marguerite is every girl's role model. I can see why, but, if she were real would every girl want to go through what she went through to become that way? Lets face it, the girl has some problems. Steve Faust
