: : : "Paradise Found" - This one almost lifted itself out of the quagmire of bad episodes when it almost killed off Malone. But then it saved Malone and put itself back in the basement. No action, no adventure, no cheesecake, no deep plot devices. The tree effects were good, but that was about it.

: : True. Killing off Malone could've saved the episode. Close, but no cigar (I'm NOT referring to Clinton, Karen :).

: Not touching it with a ten foot pole. :)

: Although I should mention that I almost got used to Malone at the end of the season. Almost.

: Me too - I think he may be salvable, with work and a little depth!

: : May I suggest one half of "Unnatural Selection"? The "Island of Dr. Moreau" rip-off storyline was decent enough, but the ludicrous sub-plot involving an old fairy/witch with radio headphones was special, even by TLW standards. One would think that at some point before an episode is filmed, someone in charge must approve the final draft of the script. How this sub-plot managed to get the green light will probably always remain a mystery.

: I totally agree ~ I thought that the "old fairy/witch" with headphones was a little more suspension of disbelief to be expected of us, even for a fantasy/action-adventure show like TLW. It was just plain silly and not in a good way!

My policy is to watch this kind of episodes, with such a bad storyline, for the little parts who are kinda fun. For example, in "Paradise Found" I liked the scene between Marge&Roxton when she came on to him. In "Salvation" it was the scene with the witch asking for a virgin what made it worthwhile. Some episodes (obviously) are not smart. But there's always something to laugh about.

Carla :)
