How about better characterization with historical backgrounds that lend substance to the members of the expedition and decent scripts / direction. Get Summerlee back and provide Veronica with a unique personna and outfit appropriate to the LW. Make Challenger the strong, combative leader he is supposed to be. In with indian tribes and two opposing nations, powerful and unique to the LW, out with all the other cultures. No lizard people. In with certain important trade items every tribe and nation will seek to control: slaves, salt, emeralds, gold, cloth particular to the lost world, and other trade items, but particularly salt obtained from deposits and glands in the snouts of dinosaurs - a real possibility.Salt is vital. Without it you die. An inland sea would be fresh water at this point. The plateau is far from the ocean. Salt is gold.In with a second expedition led by Margurite's ex - lover, really more interested in her than in what she might have discovered.But there is a man with the expedition that wants only what Margurite might have found and who intends to insure that the Challenger expedition vanishes. The man, Veronica's elder brother, comes with a beautiful companion ( some one for Troy and the younger male set to drool over and for the rest of us to appreciate ).He is the Challenger expedition's nemisis.
