A recent award show was to topic of conversation. No one could agree on who should have won but everyone agreed that the people who did win would not have been their choices. The idea of a science fiction award presented by the fans was born. We are not affiliated with anyone. How effective would an award be if we where affiliated with UPN and presented an award to Star Trek Voyager? The Roswell Award is 100% voted on by the fans. Do you know who picked the winners for the other awards? The Roswell Award is picked by the only people who really count. The fans and the viewing public. We are totally independent and do not take any paid advertisement. We do except books and toys. The science fiction community gives them to children who would not normally receive one. We also except collectable from corporations. These are sold at wholesale or below and again the revenues from the sale of these are put back into the science fiction community.
