: : When I read the latest newsletter regarding a "sleeker" Veronica and a "buffer" Roxton I deduced the same target audience intent. I emailed the group from the contact section of the Official Lost World Website and let them know that there were a number of us waiting to see Marguerite again and the development of the Marguerite-Roxton relationship. I am afraid also that the season will focus on Tarzanna-danna (Veronica)and Will, sans Marguertie. I hope this isn't the case. Since I am truly a romantic at heart, it would be a great disappointment to see the relationship between them diminish and Marguerite pushed in the background.

: I don't actually think they intend to put Veronica and Roxton together, I just think they heard too many complaints from the more shallow fans, who wanted Jennifer O'Dell and Will Snow to tone up instead of looking even remotely like actual, normal people. Heaven forbid one of these actors be allowed to be a couple of pounds overwieght. There just wasn't a "problem" with Rachel Blakely, as she's already slender.

:
: : Regarding Summerlee aka Michael, what a loss! I will also write to protest but it seems time is running out. I rather hope (hope springs eternal and all that...) that he is sworn to secrecy regarding the season and therefore, he simply can't say he's been included.

: That's actually something I've been hoping as well, since they apparently have decided that the voice of the show's fans don't count for a whole hell of a lot. It's very simple ~ we want MS back in *his* role of Summerlee.

: : Incidently, I noticed the suggestion to write Telescene (spelling correct). Have they ever responded to anyone's email? I have sent two emails to the contact section of the Official Lost World site and received no response. I am wondering what will happen to the one I sent today.

: I've written to the Official site a couple of times and never received replies either. I told them one of their links wasn't working (and it still isn't!) and asked for an address to write the actors. Nada. Very rude ~ it's a good thing I like the show so much, or I'd stop watching out of irritation towards the suits!

I agree -- I'd quit too if it weren't for the same reason -- I like the show too much. If the Marguerite-Roxton romance is nixxed than I probably will stop (and just enjoy watching the first season's episodes). As I said, I am a die-hard romantic who likes Harlequinn endings and all that...And regardless of one gentlemen's opinion about the real thing -- reality only has its moments so I think I'll just enjoy my dreams. (I am truly happily married with 2 great kids) Theresa:)
