: : : Karen: Mi site es su site. Let's go for it.

: : : Faust: Add a "vote for Summerlee" to your site and a "why you think he should be bought back" option.

: : : Identify 2 or 3 national sponsers ( email addresses of public relations and advertising executives ).

: : : Response will determine what we do next.

: : : Now, go attend to it like a good little assistant. : )
: : : Will ... I mean ...Steve Faust

: : Good little assistant, eh? Although I am by no means your little anything, I do want Summerlee back, so I have decided in my infinite wisdom to follow your advice. This does not mean I concede *anything* to you, you wicked man, it just means that I believe your suggestions make sense. I'll start working on it.

: Great, another "fire and ice" type. Roxton would like you.:)

Yes, he probably would.

: Now ... let's get down to business ... How difficult would it be to create a separate Summerlee page as well as a save Michael S. on your existing page? I havn't checked.

I have pages for all the characters on my site, two to a page: Challenger and Summerlee, Roxton and Marguerite, Veronica and Ned. There just wasn't enough material to make separate pages for each logical. I've started a separate "Save Summerlee" page, but, as you know, my life is a little crazy right now, so I'm squeaking stuff in.

: Is your site carried by any major search engine?

Not yet, although I've submitted it to Yahoo and AOL ~ it takes time unfortunately.

: Names on a collection of emails even more so.

I *do* have a small but growing mailing list of my own. (as I beam with pride, yes, dammit, I'm proud people like my site!)

: Have you checked out the director ( official site )? I'll bet his input would change things if he could be reached and reasoned with. If I'm not mistaken, it's the producers and directors that make the ultimate decisions.

Actually, I think the money men are the ones with the ultimate say-so, sad as it is, although I'll check into the others listed at the site. If, for some bizarre reason they think Summerlee's character contributes to a lack of viewers, and therefore a lack of people to see their sponsor commercials, they'll dump him. Personally, I think the fact that they don't push the show as much as they could that's the problem. I watch Buffy, Angel, Charmed, and Xena (at least this past season regularly) ~ four of the WB's biggest shows ~ the WB11 is the station in NYC/Long Island that runs TLW. They run commericals for all these shows during each other. I see Cleopatra2525 and even Jack of All Trades commercials during these shows. Once in awhile they throw in a Beastmaster (and is that man *fine* ~ sorry, had to include that!) commercial. I very rarely see advertsing for TLW at night, during the WB's prime time. Now, I don't know if the same thing happens in other areas, but obviously, the NYC/Long Island area is a highly populous one, and if we aren't seeing any advertsing that's a huge number of prospective viewers not given a chance to get "hooked" as those of us here have.

: A separate page might contain a central enlargement of Summerlee with a crossbow bolt in him and the words " is this the way we want it to end?" beneath the picture. The rest of the page might contain photos highlighting all his qualities, particularly those expedition members depended on: Warmth and moral support, bravery, and the ability to manufacture all kinds of medicines from plants. Not to mention the fact that Summerlee is a major character in Doyle's book.

These are the types of items I am planning to incorporate on my Save Summerlee page.

: Steve Faust ( wicked man ).

Glad to see you recognize it ~ that's the first step to recovery. :)
