I just knew you were a true Alexander. Do you ride a really big horse too?:>
Steve

: Dearest Telescene,

: As you are devoting a great majority of your capita to one show, it is always advisable to make the show as desirable a product to the populace as is possible, to maintain current viewship and in effect use their vigor to help that fan base grow.

: A major part of the product is Summerlee. Fandom of the show aside, from a marketing angle, you don't take a product that is doing well and take out the good old standby ingredient for chemical X. Ask giants like Coca Cola whose efforts to improve upon a favorite, fell, well..flat.

: I for one, while I am always up for a good bargin even with a din or two, don't buy broken product, nor do I buy over produced, carbon copy items. The terminaton of Summerlee will turn TLW to a channel flip standby/fast forward through show rather than a real choice for my viewership.

: Not only is he a fine actor, he is a very valuable commodity in a rag tag bunch of broken people - the stabilizing force which keeps them together. While intially removing the project's glue and putting it in a shinier, flasier package may attract viewers, style with no substance will not hold them. Summerlee is that substance.

: As you can see by the enormous outpouring of support for Summerlee, I am not alone in my feelings about Micheal. He has shown himself to be behind the show and you (though I haven't figured that one out yet) 100% and actively promotes the show and interest in the show through interaction with the LW fan community, Dragon Con and other mediums. You'd do well to have someone so firmly behind your product and actively doing what is in their power to promote your interests, stay in your numbers. You can't *buy* marketing/support like that.

: Sincerely,

: Grea Alexander
