: : The following is information I coped from Parsec's website. Guess what? I could find no listing of the interview with David Orth -- either in past, current or future issues articles? I am a little doped from surgery so perhaps "I can't see clearly now..." Would one of you Sherlock Holmes candidates take a trip to the Parsec site and let me know what I've missed? If it turns out there is no information on David Orth's interview, I do believe the omission deserves a letter to Cynthia Lane on the art of following up on publicity efforts (Public Relations 201) and to the Parsec site itself about how tacky to overlook acknowledging the Orth interview as an upcoming article. Again, I'd appreciate it if someone would let me know what I missed.: : Theresa:D : : Spring 2000 : : Earth: Final Conflict's Jayne Heitmeyer and Andrew Jackson; : : Todd McFarlane, Ron Boyd, Peter Jurasik, Max Grodénchik of Star Trek Deep Space: Nine, Klingon linguist Mark Okrand, artists Ton Boyd, Richard Pace, Mark Waid, as well as authors Sean Stewart, Candas Jane Dorsey, Guy Gavriel Kay and Nalo Hopkinson : : Our fall issue will feature: : : Interviews with the man behind Lexx's resident dead assassin, Michael McManus; Richard Hatch and Frank Stauffer on their work reviving Battlestar Galactica and on another sci-fi project; RoboCop returns with an 8-hour miniseries - find out what's up; comic industry profiles Colleen Doran and Ben Dunn, and authors Raymond Feist and Yvonne Navarro. : : Fiction by Julie Czerenda : : You can pre-order this issue by ordering a single copy and putting "Fall issue" in the shipping instructions....of course you could just subscribe and you get the summer and fall issues....... : : : : Upcoming issues : : : : Spring : : Andrew Jackson of the Millennium Man, Peter Jurasik of Babylon 5, Jayne Heitmeyer of Earth: Final Conflict, Max Grodénchik of Star Trek Deep Space: Nine, Klingon linguist Mark Okrand, Todd McFarlane, Ron Boyd, Greg Hyland, as well as authors Sean Stewart, Guy Gavriel Kay and Nalo Hopkinson. : : Summer (OUR FIFTH ANNIVERSARY) : : Featuring Interviews with the man behind Quantum Leap and other sci-fi projects, Donald P. M. DeMatteis, Richard Pace, Denis Rodier and Ben Dunn and authors Charles de Lint, Raymond Feist, Robert Sawyer and Yvonne Navarro. : No, you're not going nuts ~ when I checked it out for Steve (Faust) I didn't see an interview scheduled with David Orth either. Thank you for confirming the results of my search. Don't you think it's strange that this "all-important" interview doesn't rate a mention on their website? This omission is to great for me to ignore -- I intend to write Parsec and Ms. Lane -- Cynthia not Lois -- and let her know Parsec doesn't think enough of the Orth interview to promote it. Theresa:)
