: This season I want 1) Summerlee back, 2) intellient storylines, 3) Summerlee back, 4) Marguerite and Roxton together, 5) Summerlee back, 6) Veronica and Ned to argue, each find someone else (I suggest Niko and Assai), but still kind of have the hots for each other, 7) Summerlee back, 8) more Celtic storylines 9) Summerlee back (sensing a trend yet?) 10) recurring characters, but not as a replacements for *permanent* characters. Did I mention I want Summerlee back?Lets see: Summerlee back ( check ), Intelligent storylines ( remember that Telescene probably has no idea that a significant 25 - 45 age group of viewers exists ) ( check ) , Veronica tranformed into a Lost World jungle girl ( definite personna ), As for Veronica and Ned. Do you really think she would go for him? Think now. I kinda doubt it. Roxton, the older guy, yeah. Ned, not a chance. Character development and histories ( check )NO CELTIC storylines. There should be one or two empires, but they should be abstracted from African or East Indian cultures no one is going to recognize.And there should definitely be a second German expedition after Marguerite and what they think she has found. That would make for recurring characters. Need to dump all these other cultures. I'd bet my salary for the next 10 years that the success of the show to date is due to identification with the characters, including Summerlee, and nothing else. Take them away and the series would collapse.
