Roxton and Summerlee were alone at the treehouse, and Roxton was pouring melted lead into molds to make bullets. There has never been any explanation of where they actually get the necessary metals for the bullets and shell casings. : Silver : Good old fashioned commerce comes to mind. They explorers have run into several cultures on the plateau that are metallurgically advanced enough to manufacture all but the most complex of alloys. Even though they cannot pop in to Bullets R Us every time they want to reload, they should be able to barter for the crude materials without a problem. The only question would be the proverbial "what do you want for a gross of shell casings..." :Polly Anna
