The most formidable method of getting Michael back on the show, and this is an approach that could backfire in so many ways, would be to boycott the show's sponsers and make sure they knew you were doing it. Web sites calling for a boycott and petitions sent to companies supporting a boycott might do the trick. Of course, this is like treating syphilus with yellow fever virus. The former will work, but are the side effects desirable?

: I didn't visit yesterday and apparently I missed a whole lot of things. I can't say I'm surprised that it was officially announced that Michael S. would not be back. I think if they were being cagey it was to protect their season ending cliff-hanger.

: I will try to find some information on New Line Television and will offer any help I can to try and keep the character of Summerlee and keep Michael S. in the role.

: If the show should be renewed for a third season I think Peter McCauley and David Orth should be concerned for their future on the show. I seem to remember that when we were originally informed that the Summerlee character would not continue that Telescene had conducted some polling of focus groups. As I indicated then those groups must not have contained fans of the show.

: I an contemplating not watching the show in protest. This disturbs me because I do like the other characters and in the long run this punishes a lot of crew members and actors who played no part in the decision.

: : I have pondered and pondered the whole Michael S., Telescene movement and realize we may not have been tackling all of the right parties involved in Lost World decision making. Although I think we have done a bang-up job with projecting our concerns to Telescene(after all, they really would like a break) I am of the strong suspicion the distributors -- in my US case, New Line Television -- have not been treated as considerately by us. I am going to begin research into this company. One thing for sure, according to Cynthia, New Line Television manages the Official Lost World website. And that makes them the authors of the "sleeker" Veronica and more "buff" Roxton news "ditties" and my guess (forgive me GREA) they chose the lovely FHM as a vehicle for promoting the show -- (and what it means to them -- a little more T&A than Season One...). Please anyone -- feel free to dive into the research as well and please post any addresses both web and postal for our benefit.

: : There may still be a way to protest the demise of Michael S. as Summerlee. We would be foolish not to give it our best shot -- particularly if we truly have overlooked the real culprits behind this recent decisions.
