Posted by Myrl on August 30, 1999 at 00:13:55 My name's Myrl and I've been cruising the internet as much as possible on Farscape. Why? Because I have a computer, and I've lost interest in internet porn after I found out at that those weren't really Sandra Bullocks breasts. (don't ask... too late) Anyway. I've been reading people's two cents on farscape and I really found something out last week. It's not the bible. Think about that sentence breifly.. there. What it means is that it's not suppose to be a flawless story of philisophical genius and perfect acting and drama. It's entertainment from a group of people who did nothing but crappy shows their whole lives and finnally hit it big (alien nation, seaquest, alien's in the family, american gothic, etc.) They had become such veterans of crappy series that they finnally learned how to work a show correctly. That's it. But only it. They have placed metephoric and subconscious symbolism in the stories, but that's just to highten the entertainment. Leave it be. Jake Loyd is not a christ figure, peanut shells aren't the secret ingredient in pot and Farscape is the best god damn one hour ride, every friday night! I'm done. You can leave. |
