Well, I'm not trying to be course with you, but William Hartnell was the original doctor. He was succeeded by Patrick somebody, who was succeeded by John Pertwee, who was succeeded by Tom Baker. Hartnell had two companions, his "nieces" or "granddaughters" (I forget which). Patrick whatever his name was had a couple of companions named Zoe and something else (I'm good with names, you can tell). Pertwee's Doctor ran for five years (the other two were each Doctors for three years) and his blond companion was Jo something -- she was a babe but left after a couple of years, I think. Baker was the Doctor for seven years and he went through a lot of companions. I don't remember any blonds, however. I think the second Romana was a red head. She might seem blond if you saw her in a black-and-white episode, but I believe all of Baker's were in color. Sarah Sutton played a gorgeous little companion who survived the transition from Baker to Peter Davies, I think, but she went off to heal sick people or something. I was in love with her, but she was a brunette.:) Anyway, I can't place the reference without a name. She's probably a grandma now....
