: Aeryn: "I didn't know if you were coming back..." : John: "I would never leave you.." : Its definantly nice, its different I just wonder if the writers will continue forward or think "angst and yearning" is the way to go.. : Okay, I'm starting to ramble so I better tie this up quick so I can shut up lol I guess what I'm trying to say is that I'd like to see John & Aeryn involved eventually in a grown-up adult romance BUT without the sappiness, heart and flowers and them retaining their individual personality. Unlike the X-files who's main focus seems to be the "angst" of Mulder & Scully's unexpressed feelings, I dont think A&J could hurt the show because it wouldn't/shouldn't be the total focus; there's still Dargo, Rygel, Chiana, and Zhaan each character interesting, complex with alot to offer the show. Farscape doesn't need A&J to keep the viewers solely hooked to the show when there are other stories and characters around who we love/enjoy just as much.. : Hope I made some sort of sense. Agree, disagree, comments?. Okay now I'm done lol : T.C T.C is absolutely right, the show has an ensemble cast, and, although they've been few and far between, there have been some ensemles shos which have been able to maintain both, well written plots and a realationship between two central characters.(did that sentence make sense? it seemed really long-winded, but i wasn't sure how else to write it.) I mentioned in a pervious post the realtionship between John & Delenn (Babylon 5). Those characters were able to progress to the point of marriage and beyond, without having the show lose focus and start revolving around them only. DS9 was also able to do this with Worf & Dax. It has been done before and I think with the great writting Farscape has, it will be done again. Well, thanks for read'n my barely comperhensible babblings, and please respond. izzy1! J&A forever!
