Posted by Brian Knatchbull on January 16, 192000 at 15:06:38 Hello, Hope you are all well and for all my "Farscape" friends in the USA, I am glad to hear you are all enjoying the new episodes. I am trying to avoid all spoilers the best I can as I look forward to seeing them here in Canada in the next few weeks. Episode #17, "Through The Looking Glass" airs here this Wednesday. I apologize if some of the questions asked at: The JIM HENSON COMPANY "Farscape" Fansite ONLINE SURVEY http://www.gigapoll.com/JimHensonsFarscapeSurvey may not pertain to some of these new episodes or earlier episodes but I am trying to wait until fans here in Canada, UK, Sweden, New Zealand have caught up a bit to avoid any spoilers for them. It has yet to air in Australia but should very soon. This should bring in a whole new group of fans. I am going to pose this question at The JIM HENSON COMPANY "Farscape" Fansite ONLINE SURVEY later this week, but I also thought I would like to get some of your feelings on this. As we know Rockne has mentioned he is in discussions with Brian and Lisa Henson about a possible "Farscape" motion picture. It would be produced by Jim Henson Pictures and released by Columbia Pictures under the deal both companies have together. I am now wondering if talk of a film is too early. Should they wait for a certain amount of seasons before making a film or should they take advantage of how popular "Farscape" is right now and produce the film in case interest does decline in the future. I myself think "Farscape" could last many years if they continue produce the excellent product they are currently creating every week. Now obviously filming a film while doing the TV series would be somewhat difficult. It would have to be filmed during their hiatus and in between seasons if they decide to do it this way. What would happen if the film does not perform well? Would that effect the TV series in any way? I am sure all these things would have to be thought out. I myself think a "Farscape" motion picture would be great! However, I honestly don't see it happening for at least another 2-3 years, maybe longer. Maybe they could film it in 2001 for a 2002 release, but this might be pushing it. I don't want to see one project suffer for the other. I would love to hear some of your thoughts on this too. Thanks for listening! Take care!
