Stumbled here by accident & got a good laugh--and even better, some good thoughts chasing themselves around my brain--by reading some earlier postings. Thought I might as well add my two cents...for whatever they're worth.

Also much annoyed by Stark's abrupt & unexplained disappearance. I generally don't latch onto a character that quickly; I found the murky past and his strange abilities intriguing, and the actor gave a surprising amount of depth to such a small but pivotal role...else people probably wouldn't be as upset by his disappearance. Further support for my theory that this show has one of the most talented casts on the small screen.

Theories on Crais' abduction of Talyn. I doubt very much that it had anything to do with "abandonment issues". More likely, Crais is either 1) decided since he's out of the PK anyway, he might as well make the most of his exile or 2) he's already plotting a way back into the PK. I have only seen about 1 and 1/2 of every 3 episodes, however, so I can't say this with much certainty. I do, however, applaud the wrinkle that having Crais "irreversibly contaminated" (or whatever the phrase is) brings; I just wish the creep hadn't abducted the baby. Very uncool.

Again, I've missed an ep or two, so I've probably missed the most crucial one to this particular argument, but I'm not so sure there are sparks between Aeryn and D'Argo so much as an understanding. That whole "comrade in arms" or "warrior mentality" nonsense. Especially considering their earlier animosity, I doubt they could transition into lusty emotions this quickly...nevermind that that is the premise behind a lot of romances/romantic comedies.

Hmm. Turning into another infamous novella...I'd better shut up now, esp. since I'm not even sure if this is going to post. Newbie to message boards, don'cha know.

Multiple brownie points to you if you've read this far!!
