We have a brief explanation of our policies in the FAQ (you can click on the FAQ selection in the left-hand navigation box at the top of the message board, or on the FAQ link in any message to read it).

Basically, no flaming (meaning, no insults, no name-calling, no airing of personal grievances against other people), no off-topic selling (we do allow people who are commercially involved with FARSCAPE to post occasional announcements), no make money fast schemes, keep the profanity to a minimum, don't get sexually explicit (many different people read these boards), etc.

Basically, "be nice", as you say.

We will tolerate SOME off-topic posting by regulars, but we reserve the right to delete any message for any reason.
