No, I noticed it too - the way I figure it is, she knows she's not 'beautiful' per hollywood standards; but she has a physical & internal strength that comes out...I would rather see an actor/ress establish themselve with something they do well, then branch, then strive too quickly for something they aren't.
Although I think Claudia is a wonderful actress, and good-looking, she is not, nor will be a "beautiful" actress. But I look forward to seeing her continued work; and with the growing # of shows/movies filming in NZ/Aussieland, I think she will have little lack of work :-)
