::I have the horrible feeling that Zhaan is the one going to get the boot. If only because she's my favorite character and that always seems to happen to my favorites. But the writers never got a real handle on her personality, or what her importance was to the rest of the crew, other than a sort-of doctor. Otherwise she's pretty much been all over the place and lately she's been ignored or treated like a weakling.::

~~~I don't know if anyone gets to boot, so to speak. The word "ending" can mean many things. As to the Zhaan thing...Yes, she has been apart from the crew recently, yet I think that was in order to let this D'Argo/Chianna thing brew uninterupted. I still think the ending to that relationship is near. I mean, they aren't going for some kind of pair-up when she still rubs her hindquarters against Crichton every time she gets a chance.
I tend to think this encounter with whatever they found out in space is going to evolve Zhaan's priest capabilities to a new level, make her more of a badass (she can kick butt when she needs to). They are going to need it in the fight against Scorpius (remember the eppy with the mind vampire?).
Also--point of interest--I just rewatched the last episode and paid special attention to the season-3 series trailer. Zhaan is **very much in the picture** and they chose a shot of her and D'Argo kissing to add in the mix.
I don't know. If I was going to ax a charcater mid-season, I wouldn't pepper my trailer with her image. They ususally only like to change those things once a season, if that much.
Just a thought for a Zhaan lover.
