They are certainly lacking in independant thought, but that's a bit different. Anyway, my question is; are they actually lacking in emotion, (not lacking like a Vulcan, but just not showing much feeling) and if so, do all Sebaceans act in a similar manner? Maybe it's just a military thing, I don't know. I think it's a military thing. The fact that they deem 'irrevocably contaminated' anyone who has been out of their influence for a while suggests that their highly regimented military and social structure would crumble if had extended contact with with other, perhpas more tolerant species. Plus, Crais was originally a farmer, taken from his parents, so I suspect that it's probably all supression of emotion rather than the lack thereof.
